Enriching West Vancouver
From a full-block under-utilized site to a transformative waterfront destination, Grosvenor is proud to share the decade-long efforts that culminated to bring Grosvenor Ambleside to life.
2006 – 2011
Grosvenor patiently acquired the full-block land assembly over a five-year period.
The previous brownfield gas station site was converted into a public art park for community enjoyment and interaction.
Input was collected from hundreds of West Vancouver residents and local stakeholders at ideas fairs. These sessions informed a clear community vision to create a gathering space filled with public art and entertainment.
Rezoning achieved, designs finalized, and presales commenced.
Phase one of the project was constructed.
Phase two of the project was constructed.
